Automate the optimization process for new product images.

Automation Setup:


Note: The Automation Feature is available in Premium plan only.

  1. click "Add Automation" to open the settings module.

  2. Enter a descriptive title for the automation process.

  3. Toggle the Automation status to 'Active.'

  4. Select 'Products' under resources.

  5. Choose the desired Compression type and format.

    A. Compression Type :
    a. Lossless-reduce the image size by up to 30% [ Recommended one ] Optimize your images to the extreme without changing a single pixel.

    b. Lossy reduces the image size by up to 70% - Small change in image quality not noticeable to the human eye.

B. Compression Format :
a. Convert all files as per image format.
b. Convert all files to webp [Recomended]: Best compatible and maintain Image quality.

c. Convert all files to jpg/jpeg: This format is excellent for products and images with many colors.

  1. If necessary, enable image resizing by toggling the respective switch.

  2. Save the settings to activate automation.

    Now whenever a merchant adds new images to their store they will get automatically optimized as per the settings you have kept under automation and those optimized images merchants can see under the Product Image Tab.

    Their merchant can re-store or re-optimize the image if needed.

Note :

1. To carry out this automation merchant must have image optimization Credits available.
2. If merchants do not have enough image credits available on the account then the process will not be carried out.

3. One image will take one credit.
4. Merchant's credits will get renewed as per its base plan. If the base plan is a monthly subscription then credit will get renewed every month. If the base plan is a yearly subscription then credit will get renewed every year.
5. Merchants can buy extra Image credits that will cost 100 Images for $1.
